Handouts for quality assurance of fatigue level assessments in chronc/rare diseases (German)

Fatigue is unusually persistent tiredness or exhaustion that may significantly impair physical and mental performance. It is characterised by the fact that increased rest or sleep results in little or no improvement.

Assessors who are supposed to assess the effects of fatigue, e.g. for insurance companies or medical services, often perceive the limitation of the patient’s performance differently than the person affected perceives it. In order to explain to them the importance of fatigue, especially in chronic or rare diseases such as aplastic anaemia and PNH, we provide the “Guidelines for Quality Assurance of Assessor Opinions on Fatigue due to Chronic Diseases” for download, which you can enclose with your application.
